I’m working out of a Panera Bread today. Getting back into the swing of working. My 2 week “vacation” is over. It’s hard though. I’m wearing a Google baseball hat so as not to scare the kids out and about. Oh, and I don’t want to freak out women either. Of course, my explanation is that I don’t want them to think I’m part of the Borg. But, most kids and all women ask me back “the what?” Now, if they are truly out of the
tech/nerd loop, I’m OK with that. But, most women I know think they are totally all caught up on everything. But, they don’t know the Borg? Really? Don’t they know that Captain Jean-Luc Picard was once part of the Borg and thus his desire to totally destroy them? Of course, I’m speaking total foreign lingo here to most. Well, I promise I’m not part of the collective. But, I will have a scan done by my own CT Scan person to make sure there’s been nothing planted inside of me. Resistance is never futile!
